Aboriginal Women’s Program Funding
The Aboriginal Peoples’ Program is now accepting applications for the Aboriginal Women’s Programming Elements for the 2011-2012 fiscal year. Application requirements are online or contact Cynthia Welna at 867-766-8490.  For more info, go to the APP website.

Commemoration Projects

RBC After-School Grants
RBC After-School Grants Project is offering more than $2 million in grants to fund programs during the 2011-2012 school year. RBC After-School grants of up to $40,000 are provided by the RBC Foundation to programs in at-risk or underserved communities. Applications can be downloaded or contact 416-974-2176.

Literacy Fund grants for schools from the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation
The Indigo Love of Reading Foundation is dedicated to putting books in the hands of children at high-needs elementary schools.   Every year the Literacy Fund commits $1.5 million across 20 high-needs schools in Canada. Calls for Proposals – Virtual Museum of Canada (VMC) Investment Programs
Funding is available for Virtual Exhibits and Community Memories programs. Eligible Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) member institutions can submit their proposals.
