Project Funding Available to Engage Local Seniors

The Government of Canada is once again accepting applications from not-for-profit organizations who want to give Canada’s seniors the opportunity to participate in and lead projects that will improve their quality of life and make a difference in their communities.

Today, the latest call for proposals under the Community Participation and Leadership stream of the New Horizons for Seniors Program was launched by the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development, and the Honourable Diane Ablonczy, Minister of State (Seniors).

Under the Program’s Community Participation and Leadership stream, non-profit organizations can apply for up to $25,000 per project.
