The Centre for Literacy of Quebec’s next Summer Institute will continue to explore issues in workplace literacy and essential skills. Key questions will include:
- What do we know about what employers really value?
- What do workers need and want?
- Do government policies around the globe take sufficient account of workers’ and employers’ priorities?
- How can we measure and find a balance between hard and soft outcomes?
- What weight should be given to test scores and levels?
